National Association of Realtors: March INcrease in Home Sales!


Breaking News….Housing Showing Signs of Rebound…NAR Reports: INCREASE IN HOME SALES!

The National Association of Realtors reported that existing home sales rose 3.7% in March from the previous month. That topped expectations of a 2.5% gain. The NAR said the seasonally adjusted annual sales rate rose to 5.1 million. That’s not a big number — last year, about 4.9 million existing homes were sold — the worst sales rate since 1997.

According to the NAR, cash remains king in the home world. About 35% of all sales were all cash last month.

Yesterday, New Housing Starts jumped 7.2% in March and building permits surged 11.2%, according to the Commerce Department.
